Vichov: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Víchov has several facets: local history, water and paths.

History and Townscape

The first written mention of Víchov dates back to 1342. According to some sources, the Hussite priest and ideologue Mistr Jakoubek ze Stříbra was born in Víchov. A roadside chapel, which was fully reconstructed at the beginning of the 21st century, forms part of the townscape. It has a memorial plaque for the victims of the First World War and colorful stained-glass windows.

Water and Landscape

Víchovský rybník is also known as Víchovák. For many years, it served as a popular natural bathing spot in summer.

Paths

You can walk or go on an outing along a former agricultural road south of Víchov. The route passes Víchovský rybník at some distance.
