Třemešné: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The green-marked hiking trail Třemešné–Přimda–Staré Sedliště is 21 km long and runs through the forest between Třemešné and Přimda. It complements a landscape where longer hiking trails, educational trails, and a dedicated cycling route are connected.

Trails and Routes

The Milíře educational trail is approximately 15.5 km long and connects to the blue-marked hiking trail, which leads back to Třemešné. The Vodní mlýny educational trail is approximately 11.5 km long. It runs parallel to the blue-marked hiking trail as far as Svatá Apolena, then turns onto the road to Málkov and follows the Bezděkovský stream back to Třemešné.

For cyclists, the Třemešné–Diana–Třemešné cycling route is interesting; it is approximately 30.5 km long.

Villagescape and Landscape

Třemešné is situated in a wooded landscape along the Domažlice–Tachov railway line. The village was a Chod village laid out around an irregularly rectangular village green. On the village green, between the inn and the railway station, stands a remarkable farmstead with an entrance above which a gallery has been built.

Kamenný vrch (738 m) lies 2 km southwest of Třemešné. Its summit is flat and covered with rocky outcrops, and the view is limited. Below the summit, approximately halfway up the slope, are old charcoal-burning sites – prepared areas where charcoal was produced.

History and Traces

The former Chapel of the Virgin Mary is commemorated by exposed foundations and an exposed floor. The outline of the chapel has been marked out for tourists and occasional visitors.
