Svojkovice: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

The eastern part of the Svojkovice area is predominantly forested and forms a link between the forests of Brdy and Radeč. The highest point of the area is Vydřiduch, at 513 metres above sea level.

Nature and landscape

The protected natural monument of Zavírka in Svojkovice exposes clay shales of the Klabava Formation containing Ordovician fauna. On its southern side, the Svojkovice area borders the Brdy region with the extensive Žďár and Trhoň forested massifs.

The rocks at Žďár offer views of the surrounding area, particularly the municipality of Hůrky and the Radeč ridge with the summit of Brno. Mount Hřeben is located in the vicinity of Svojkovice, as is Mount Hlava. Mount Jordán and Mount Beran lie in the wider regional surroundings of Svojkovice.

History and churches

Svojkovice lay on the important main road between Prague and Rokycany; at the beginning of the 16th century, the road passing through Svojkovice was upgraded to an imperial road.

The Church of U Svatého Petra is located in the immediate vicinity of Svojkovice. The Church of Svatý Martin is located in the vicinity of Svojkovice. Event

The third edition of the event “Loučení s létem & gulášování” is scheduled for 12 September 2026 at the Svojkovice swimming pool complex. Food, music and children’s attractions are planned.

Railway

Svojkovice railway station is located on line 170 on the Beroun–Plzeň–Klatovy route. The station building, or the covered waiting area at Svojkovice station, is accessible without barriers; all platforms are likewise accessible without barriers.
