Castle and History

At the beginning of the 18th century, Ticholovec was a popular destination because of its spas, statues and romantic setting.
The amateur theatre ensemble Buřina revived theatre in Příchovice in 2011 and performs at the Příchovice Cultural Centre and in surrounding municipalities.

The Chapel of Saint John of Nepomuk in Příchovice has been protected as a cultural monument of the Czech Republic since 2006. From the beginning of Advent until Epiphany, its doors remain open; a glazed door also allows visitors to view the nativity scene and the chapel interior at night when illuminated.
On Christmas Eve, scouts from Příchovice distribute the Bethlehem Light at the Chapel of Saint John of Nepomuk.
The Chapel of Saint Anne still marks the place where French soldiers found their final resting place.
