Spalene Porici: Holiday Apartments and Houses

Spálené Poříčí Castle was built in 1617 by Adam Vratislav z Mitrovic on the site of an earlier Gothic fortress. Visitors to the castle can see a concert hall with its original Renaissance ceiling vault still preserved, as well as the ethnographic museum of the Spálenopoříčsko region. The parks in front of and behind the castle are freely accessible.

Paths and Experiences

The educational trail “Za mlynáři od Bradavy” begins at a mill in the immediate vicinity of the castle. From there, it runs through the Bradava valley, past Hvížďalka Pond, to Hořehled. At six stops, the 4.5 km trail presents the history of mills, hammers and traditional crafts.

The “Perličky víly Terezky” walking trail is particularly suitable for families with children, seniors, schoolchildren and parents with prams because of its proximity to the town, level terrain, paved paths and not overly long route.

The “Cesta otevřená” is a restored historic path between Spálené Poříčí and Blovice. It leads through the rural landscape with meadows, pastures and forests. By continuing through the forest, the path can be extended into a cycling route of approximately 20 km.
