Kbel lies in a long, flat valley of the Kbelský potok stream. Between the landscape, regional cycle route and listed buildings, the village displays a distinctly rural character.

Landscape and cycle route

Regional cycle route No. 2188 between Malinec and Vlčí runs through Kbel. Thus, a clearly designated regional connection is just as much a part of the village landscape as its location in the valley of the Kbelský potok.

Culture and history

The Church of All Saints is one of the listed buildings in Kbel. It was originally Gothic and dates from the mid-14th century. Its preserved presbytery features a fan-vaulted ribbed ceiling.

The former vicarage in Kbel is a Baroque building and a cultural monument. Designated as House No. 35 on Plot No. 37, it stands in the village centre on the northern side of the main traffic route.

Rural buildings

The traditional rural buildings of heritage value in Kbel include a log house near House No. 2. The rarely preserved log barn near House No. 24 is also among the listed buildings.
