Líšina: Holiday apartments and holiday homes
Landscape
Líšina lies in the valley of the Merklínka stream, which flows through the center of the village. The agricultural character of the Merklínka Valley has been preserved to this day.
Culture and history
The Chapel of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross is listed as a cultural monument of the Czech Republic and stands on the road between Stod and Merklín.
The first written mention of Líšina dates back to 1180. From 1227, Líšina belonged to the holdings of the Chotěšov Monastery. Archaeological finds of burial mounds in the vicinity of Líšina provide evidence that the landscape was already settled in the 4th century BC.
The local architectural heritage includes farmstead No. 46 in Líšina. It comprises stone granaries with a double roof structure; block walls are also visible on its grounds.
