Kolinec: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Kolinec is home to the Church of Saint James the Greater, an important historical monument in the Pošumaví region. It was built around the year 1200 as a Romanesque, longitudinally oriented, fortified single-nave gallery church.

Cultural Heritage

The Kolinec Jewish cemetery is located about 100 metres from the market square in the direction of Sušice. 130 tombstones have been preserved in the cemetery; as a cultural monument of the Czech Republic, it is protected.

Leisure and Trails

The Kolinec swimming and sports complex includes a children's paddling pool as well as a large and a small swimming pool. The complex also has a multi-purpose sports field, which requires a reservation for use.

The yellow-marked hiking trail runs through Kolinec and continues to Hartmanice, into the Šumava Protected Landscape Area and Šumava National Park.

The Kolinec château park includes the Filipínka spring. The educational trail there features information panels about the Jewish cemetery and the Jewish community. A 15 km excursion route leads from Kolinec château park via the Kolinec Jewish cemetery and other stops back to Kolinec château park.
