Dvorec: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

The historic ironworks stood on the border between Dvorce and Vrčeň on the Myslívský potok stream. After iron production ended in the 1880s, the buildings of the former ironworks were initially converted into an oil mill and, in the 1920s, into a mill. The buildings still stand today on the dam of the pond in the Železná Huť area.

Culture

On the route to Dvorec stands the former railway water station, a building constructed at the end of the 19th century and largely preserved in authentic condition, with unusual hexagonal glass blocks. Also on the route to Dvorec, the former railway depot retains its original, simple appearance in the Neo-Renaissance style.

The Výtopna Nepomuk historical and model railway is located in Dvorec, at Rožmitálská 63, in the Plzeňský kraj region. It features a working TT-scale model railway layout with an area of 24.5 m², a scale of 1:120 and a track gauge of 12 mm.

Landscape

Buzrakov Mountain (Plánický hřeben) and Nad Moráskem Mountain are located in the surroundings of Dvorec. The hill of Dálky [Třebčice] and Šibenice Hill [Nepomuk] are located in the immediate vicinity of Dvorec.

Huťský rybník pond covers 5.7 hectares and is up to five metres deep in some places; its construction began in 1785 as a new water source for the ironworks.

Trails

The Helenka educational trail leads from the weir on the Úslava to the Včelařská educational trail, which has a total of ten stations.
