Trusnov: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

Trusnov is home to natural history features and evidence of rural cultural history. Lodrant is a pond and a nature monument of the same name, located within the cadastral territories of the municipalities of Litětiny, Trusnov and Uhersko in the Pardubice Region. At the same time, Lodrant is an important breeding site for waterfowl.

Nature

The Stráň u Trusnova protected area consists of an east-facing marl slope with remnants of the once-rich population of fringed gentians and other heat- and lime-loving plant species. Stráň u Trusnova is designated as a nature monument. The nature monument protects a habitat for endangered plant species.

The Loučná flows south of Trusnov through Opočno, a district of the municipality of Trusnov.

Hiking and cycling routes

The green-marked Route 4239 runs along a forest path over the dam of Lodrant and leads from Uhersko to Kostelec nad Orlicí. Route 4237 is one of the marked cycling routes in Trusnov.

Culture

The Staročeské muzeum in Trusnov provides insights into historical rural life and displays two fully furnished rooms. The chapel in Trusnov is a monument of local significance.

The amateur theater in Trusnov, which had ended after the war, resumed in 2009. The play “Dařbuján a Pandrhola” was performed sixteen times in Trusnov in spring 2023 and seen by more than 2,000 visitors.

The Prague–Česká Třebová railway line runs through the cadastral territory of the municipality of Trusnov.
