Čeperka: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The Opatovický Canal flows through Čeperka. At the same time, the canal is a protected immovable cultural monument; its protected area includes plot 428/1 in the Čeperka cadastral area.

Landscape and History

Vilém II of Pernštejn had the historic Čeperka pond created. The pond covered an area of 1,000 hectares; in the 18th and 19th centuries, it was drained and converted into arable land.

Water and Activities

The exhibition at the Čeperka Jezírkové Centre showcases all types of koi carp. The Malá Čeperka flooded quarry is designated as a swimming lake with a sandy beach and clean water, as well as a restaurant, cabins and sports facilities. On the Stéblová circular trail, Malá Čeperka is listed as one of the noteworthy stops. The section of cycle route 4039 from Opatovice nad Labem via Čeperka to Stéblová railway station is 7 km long. In summer, the 32 km-long “Regionem pod Kunětickou horou” cycle tour passes flooded quarries near Čeperka and Stéblová, where you can cool off.

Monuments

Local monuments in Čeperka include a stone cross dating from 1858. The monument to those who fell in the First World War in Čeperka was ceremonially unveiled on 8 June 1924. The land reform monument in Čeperka was ceremonially unveiled on 19 July 1925.
