Cycling Route

The signposted cycling route no. 4129 passes through Urbanice in the direction of Choltice and Jetonice. Within the municipality, it runs along local roads and partly along a class III road. The cycling route no. 4129 is frequently used, especially during the summer months.

Culture

After 1467, the fortress located in Urbanice gradually began to fall into disrepair because its owner did not live there due to his many other estates. In the 19th century, Urbanice traditionally hosted the “otvírání studánek” festival, with a procession of young people to the “Konárecká”. Volleyball has a tradition of more than fifty years in Urbanice.

The annual calendar also includes an annual competition afternoon for children called “Rozloučení s prázdninami” and the winter event “Mikulášská nadílka”.
