Trpík: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The first documented mention of Trpík appears in a deed of donation from 1304. To this day, historic buildings, sacred landmarks and traditional events shape the appearance of the village.

History

The school building in Trpík was constructed between 1867 and 1872. A stone cross in the village dates from the second half of the 18th century. The Baroque Chapel of St Anne in Trpík is also part of the village’s history: it dates from 1763 and was consecrated in 1776. It has not served its original purpose for a long time.

Culture

A freestanding Chapel of St Anne stands below the embankment of the railway line at a junction near a viaduct between three lime trees. The year 1875 is engraved at the apex of the stone door frame.

In the southeastern part of Trpík, a cast-iron cross with a relief of Christ stands on a square sandstone pedestal beside the main road, at the corner of an enclosed garden. In the wider regional surroundings of Trpík lies Hrad Brníčko Castle.

Traditions

The Trpická pouť is a traditional pilgrimage in Trpík. The 2026 Trpická pouť featured a mass in the Chapel of St Anne and a public family programme.

Landscape

The mountains Zámecká hora, Cukrová Bouda, Lazek and Roh are located in the surroundings of Trpík. Extensive forests stretch south and west of Trpík.
