Pusta Kamenice: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Forests shape the landscape of Pustá Kamenice; the municipality is home to cultural monuments and local traditions. The Church of St. Anne was built in 1680 in the early Baroque style.

Landscape and Nature

Forests cover 1,105 hectares, or 72% of the area of Pustá Kamenice. The municipality lies in the valley of the Kamenická voda stream. At the eastern end of Pustá Kamenice, the Mlynářova lípa is also a protected memorial tree.

Culture and History

Its floor plan is in the shape of a Greek cross, complemented by a 12-metre-high dome. The Baroque church from the 17th century is listed as a cultural monument.

The Pekelec memorial site is registered as the Pustá Kamenice war grave under the identification number CZE-5310-06678. The monument is listed in the Central Register of Cultural Monuments under registration number 4811. The memorial site underwent extensive renovation in 2024; two benches are located there.

Local cultural life includes Masopust processions, Šibřinky, posvícení and a children's carnival.

Cycling Routes and Fishing

Cyclists can use a designated cycling route in Pustá Kamenice as well as other unmarked paved paths. Cycling route 4180 is one of the local leisure opportunities.

Fishing with one rod is permitted at Pustokamenický rybník. Fishing permits can be purchased from Rybářské sdružení Vysočina Polička.
