Nature and Trails

The Širůček pond in Budislav is used for swimming. Opposite the school in Budislav stand two large sandstone blocks: Velké Hradisko and Malé Hradisko.

The Budislav–Městské maštale circular route begins in Budislav on red cycle route no. 4, then continues along white cycle route no. 3 and a yellow hiking trail marker.

The Toulovcova rozhledna lookout tower stands on Jarošovský kopec between Jarošov and Budislav in the Svitavy District at an elevation of 539 m above sea level. Toulovcova rozhledna is 15 metres high, has two viewing platforms and can be reached via more than 60 steps.

Culture and History

In the forest near Budislav, a memorial plaque at the Na Borku forester’s lodge commemorates the writer Teréza Nováková’s stay in Budislav.

Dům bratří Čapků in Budislav was completed in 1941 and has been a cultural monument since 2000. The ecological education centre of Dům bratří Čapků houses an exhibition about the history and restoration of the cultural monument.

Getting Around

The small Budislav information centre is located in a booth in the car park by the municipal office and sells tourist maps and postcards. During the summer holidays, the information centre in the car park by the municipal office organises guided tours of the Boží Lásky Church.
