Rohozná U Poličky: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The oldest historical monument in Rohozná is the Church of St. Erasmus. It is classified as a cultural monument, was built sometime in the first third of the 14th century, and still has its original Gothic presbytery with remnants of 14th-century frescoes.

Location and Landscape

Rohozná lies on the border between Bohemia and Moravia and in the foothills of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands. The Křetínka Valley Nature Park covers part of Rohozná’s cadastral area. Na Drahách Hill, at an elevation of 647 m above sea level, offers panoramic views of the surrounding area.

Nature

The forests around Rohozná are suitable for picking mushrooms and bilberries. The protected plant vachta trojlistá (bogbean) grows in the cadastral area; several orchid species (vstavače) also grow there.

Getting Around and in the Village

The road from Svojanov towards Polička passes through Rohozná. The Zlatovánek spol. s r.o. bus company can be used for bus journeys to Rohozná. The “Radiměř – Svojanov Castle” cycle route passes through Rohozná, is 10.5 km long, and runs along paved second- and third-class roads. Regular events in Rohozná include Children’s Day.
