Mladoňovice: Holiday Apartments and Houses

In Mladoňovice, a local legend tells of gold mining in the past at the site of the settlement of Zlatnice, which disappeared; the appropriately named Zlatník stream still commemorates this today.

Culture and History

Local landmarks include the cross in Pohled: it is the oldest cross in the municipality and dates from 1872. A bell tower, erected in 1891, stands near the cross. The cross in Petříkovice was erected in 1894. In Čejkovice, the cross was erected in 1886 by the Vackovi couple.

The cross in Mladoňovice was erected in 1890 with financial support from local residents. The freestanding cross on Habrovka was commissioned in 1945 by the Buřval family from a nearby farmstead to commemorate the end of the Second World War. The cross in Rtenín dates from 1898; a bell tower was also erected there that same year. In 2010, the original idea was conceived for the chapel in Deblov: to convert a transformer station into a chapel.

Nature and Geology

The Deblov geological site can be reached via a walkable tourist trail and lies more than 250 metres from the road. It features light-coloured quartzite outcrops from the Middle Ordovician.

The Deblov geological site also preserves a large, relatively well-preserved bedding surface with visible traces of biological activity in the form of tunnels belonging to the genera Pragichnus, Skolithos and Monocraterion.
