Rural life and church architecture

Babiččin dvoreček is located on a more than 400-year-old farm in Licibořice; the farm was opened to the public in May 2012. Traditional farm animals are kept there, including goats, sheep, cattle and turkeys. Visitors can view, pet and feed the animals up close, as well as visit Dědečkova obůrka with its forest animals.

The Church of St. Michael the Archangel in Licibořice is a single-nave building with a rectangular floor plan and a small apse. Its entrance portal has original, wooden, double-leaf doors decorated with carvings; statues stand in niches on both sides of the façade. Licibořice also has a Baroque-remodeled bell tower.

Nature

Boušovka is a site of community importance in the cadastral area of Licibořice and overlaps with the Boušovka natural monument. At the same time, Boušovka is a small forest pond in the Slavická obora game reserve. Old oak avenues line the paths and the pond embankments. The shallow, sunny shores of Boušovka provide a habitat for the rare yellow-spotted whiteface dragonfly.

The Krkanka nature reserve is a breeding ground for eagle owls and comprises a morphologically highly varied area with a deep gorge of the Chrudimka River and its tributaries. The cadastral area of the municipality of Licibořice extends into this nature reserve.

Cycling and hiking trails

Cycle route 4112 runs through Licibořice between Horní Bradlo and Sezemice. Cycle route 4177 also passes through Licibořice. A yellow-marked hiking trail from Slatiňany towards the trail junction in Horní Bradlo also runs through the municipal districts of Šiškovice and Slavice in the municipality of Licibořice.
