Míčov-Sušice: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Míčov-Sušice lies in a wooded landscape on the ridge of the Železné hory, approximately 550 metres above sea level. Signposted hiking and cycling routes, as well as structures and statues with stories of their own, give the place several distinct facets.

Landscape and Trails

The green-marked hiking trail leads from Třemošnice via Míčov and Sušice to Heřmanův Městec. Signposted local cycling routes also pass through Míčov-Sušice. A yellow-marked hiking trail leads to a crossroads at the Zbyslavec recreation centre.

Luvětínský Pond near Rudov serves as a natural outdoor swimming pool.

Culture and History

The Church of Saint Matthew was rebuilt into its present form between 1880 and 1884. The vicarage in Míčov dates from the late 18th century and was built in the Baroque style.

In Zbyslavec, the bell tower was repaired and reconsecrated in 1927. A statue of Saint John of Nepomuk stands at the entrance to the Zbyslavec recreation centre. The statue is approximately 300 years old; some records date it to 1661.
