Rozhovice lies at the foot of the Železné hory.

Cycling

The “Za rozhlednou Barborkou” cycling circuit starts in Rozhovice, is 20 km long, and is classified as easy.

A more challenging route is offered by the “Za krásami Železných hor a prachovického lomu” cycling circuit. It also starts in Rozhovice, is 33 km long, and is classified as more challenging.

Geographical Location

Road II/32228 runs through Rozhovice from Pardubice to Heřmanův Městec and onward towards Čáslav or Seč.

The Chrudim–Heřmanův Městec railway line also runs through the village. Passenger services were discontinued in 2010; the line is currently used only minimally.

Culture

The Church of St. Peter and Paul stands on a slight rise in the northeast of Rozhovice. It can be reached via stone steps lined on both sides by a lime-tree avenue. The presbytery contains a large modern fresco by Vojmír Vokolek dating from the 1970s.
