Rvacov: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes
The southern part of Rváčov lies within the Žďárské vrchy Protected Landscape Area. Its purpose is to preserve a harmoniously balanced cultural landscape with a significant proportion of natural ecosystems.
Culture
The Church of St. Nicholas is a distinctive landmark surrounded by traditional folk buildings. Its present form dates from 1886; since 3 May 1958, it has been protected as a cultural monument.
Several smaller monuments also contribute to the character of the village. The Kříž u č. p. 31 cross stands within Rváčov, on a bend near the main road on the left-hand side and near the original old school. The Kříž na křižovatce k Petrkovu cross is located at the crossroads on the outskirts of Rváčov in the direction of Petrkov. Its stone pedestal was restored in July 2014; the site was also redesigned.
The Kříž při cestě na Veselý Kopec cross is located at the edge of a private property at a viewpoint with a beautiful view and a simple wooden bench. This series of small sacred monuments is complemented by the two-storey, pillar-shaped Boží muka wayside shrine, which has niches.
Trails
The red-marked Matulova stezka trail runs through Rváčov u Hlinska and is 1.80 km long. Route 4183 begins in Vortová and leads via Chlum, Vítanov and Rváčov to a forester’s hut near Bystřice, where it ends.
