Krásné: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Krásné is located in the Železné hory Protected Landscape Area. The landscape includes special natural areas as well as places with their own distinctive character: in spring, thousands of spring snowflake flowers cover the Vršovská olšina, while the Polánka natural monument is a habitat for the elder-flowered orchid.

Landscape and Nature

The Vápenice Nature Reserve is accessible year-round without restrictions; only the underground tunnel remains permanently closed to the public. The Vršovská olšina is also accessible at any time. The best access to the Vršovská olšina starts in Krásné and follows a road past the transmission mast into the forest.

Village Character and History

Polánka has preserved its original village character around a pond and a vaulted haltýř. Chlum has a characteristic layout as a forest settlement with a round village square surrounded by wooden and masonry houses.

Paths and Views

Marked hiking trails around Krásné offer views of the Elbe lowlands. The short Vápenka educational trail near Polánka presents the history of limestone mining and offers views of a rugged landscape largely untouched by people.
