Hartinkov is located in the Bohdalov-Hartinkov Nature Park and beneath the peaks of the Drahanská vrchovina. Here, protected landscape and the distinctive mountain scenery of the surrounding area meet directly.

Culture and History
The Chapel of Saint Wenceslas is located in Hartinkov. A manorial farm was established in the former fortress in Hartinkov.
The expansion of Hartinkov in the 19th century was connected with iron ore mining in the surrounding area. Some of the residents of the newer houses worked in the nearby mines. Others produced charcoal in kilns in the surrounding forests for the smelting furnace in Vranová Lhota.
Several original 19th-century buildings have been preserved in Hartinkov. On 28 September, the Václavské hody feast takes place here.
Getting There
The Nectava railway station is 5 km away and is connected to Hartinkov by a connecting bus service. Buses run from the Hartinkov bus stop towards Chornice and Jevíčko.
