The Farní muzeum Zábřeh displays a lapidarium, a collection of historic liturgical objects, a coin hoard containing 1,200 coins, and an exhibition on the history of the church and its bells.
The Zábřeh Museum is located in the Dům Pod Podloubím on the upper Masarykovo náměstí. Dům Pod Podloubím is listed in the Czech Central Register of Immovable Cultural Monuments. The church of sv. Bartoloměje was built on the site of Zábřeh’s original church according to plans by Domenico Martinelli in the second half of the 18th century.
Tours of the tower of the church of sv. Bartoloměje, including its bells, and of the exhibition at the Farní muzeum Zábřeh are possible by prior arrangement. The owners of Zámek Skalička organise cultural and social events for the general public.
Water
The Plavecký areál Zábřeh swimming centre has an indoor pool measuring 25 × 15 m with six swimming lanes. There is also a 50 m long outdoor swimming and leisure area. A 60 m long water slide ends in a children’s pool.
Getting Around
The Welzlova naučná stezka educational trail begins at Zábřeh railway station. The Oborník pond is the third stop on the trail. The Ochutnej Moravu na kole route also starts and ends at Zábřeh railway station, where ČD offers bicycle hire.
