Ústín: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes
Ústín was first mentioned in writing sometime between approximately 1173 and 1185. The history of the village is reflected in designated cultural monuments and memorial sites; cycle paths and landscape features add to the perspective on the immediate and wider surroundings.
History and Culture
In the second half of the 14th century, the Hradisko Premonstratensian Monastery acquired the entire village of Ústín. Ústín is home to a monument created by the academic sculptor J. Pelikán in memory of the victims of the First and Second World Wars. The Chapel of St. Florian in Ústín dates from the mid-18th century.
The stone bridge over the Stouska stream is designated as a cultural monument in Ústín. It has a single semicircular arch opening and a completely masonry-built parapet. The Boží muka wayside shrine between Topolany and Ústín was moved two metres from the edge of the road onto municipal land belonging to Ústín. The Hostinec Pod Žudrem in Ústín was given this name after its reconstruction in 1992–1993; the name refers to a loggia with semicircular arches reminiscent of the typical Haná building form known as a Žudr.
The Komunitní centrum Haná serves as a cultural and social centre in Ústín.
