Troubky: Apartments and Holiday Homes

The confluence of the Morava and Bečva rivers is described as a natural attraction of Troubky. In the village and its immediate surroundings, river landscapes, floodplain forests, cycle paths, monuments and vibrant Haná traditions come together to create a diverse local character.

Nature and Cycle Paths

The Zástudánčí National Nature Reserve is one of the natural attractions in the vicinity of Troubky. Its secluded location and difficult accessibility make Zástudánčí one of the most important quiet zones for disturbance-sensitive bird species. The reserve is also home to a small population of Kessler's gudgeon.

The Troubky weir, with a small hydropower plant, offers interesting landscape views. Several designated routes for cyclists pass through different parts of the village: the Bečva Cycle Path crosses Troubky's cadastral territory, while the southern part of the cadastral territory is crossed by the Moravian Trail. A local cycle route leads through the floodplain forests of Troubky towards Chropyně or Lobodice.

The regional, undemanding section of the Bečva Cycle Path along the Bečva is intended for cyclists and pedestrians. With a suitable surface, it can also be used with inline skates.

Culture and Remembrance

The statue of St. Amand stands in the local cemetery of Troubky. This listed cultural monument is a High Baroque work from the mid-18th century attributed to B. Fritsch. The statue commemorates the averting of a plague epidemic and was moved to the local cemetery at the beginning of the 20th century.

The statue of St. Florian stands in the park in front of the school. It is a listed cultural monument and a high-quality Baroque work dating from around 1750. After restoration, it was moved from Dřevohostice to Troubky in 1970.

The memory of more recent history is reflected in other places in the village. The monument to six American airmen in the local cemetery is a listed cultural monument and commemorates an aerial battle over the municipality's territory on 17 December 1944. Next to the church in Troubky stands the monument to the fallen of the First World War, dating from 1922; it bears the names and photographs of 57 fallen residents. In the park by the cultural centre, a monument commemorates the victims of the 1997 floods.

Church and Haná Traditions

The Church of St. Margaret, Virgin and Martyr, in Troubky existed by 1672 at the latest. At that time, it was a small church with one altar and two bells. Construction of the new church began in 1870; the church was solemnly consecrated on 7 July 1872.

The Hanák folklore ensemble preserves the folk traditions of Haná through Haná songs and dances. The ensemble performs at regional and international folklore festivals. Hanák also regularly contributes to Troubky's cultural calendar: the Předvánoční posezení u cimbálu is one of the two cultural events held annually, while the Folklorní hodové slavnosti is the second. Hanák also organises a Masopustní průvod every year.

Community Life and Events

The Troubky sports hall is used year-round by local residents and visitors. The cultural centre houses a restaurant. Recurring events also include the Jezdecké dny, held at the beginning of June or in mid-August, which attract equestrian sports enthusiasts from the nearby and wider area.
