Bezuchov: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

In Bezuchov, the Lesy u Bezuchova protected area also extends across the cadastral territory of the village. It protects oak-hornbeam forests; the village square is home to the chapel of Saint Florian, which dates from 1895 and has been completely restored.

Culture and History

A granite cross has also been restored in Bezuchov, and two sandstone crosses have been reconstructed. The round village square once had three gates, known as Stará brána, Nová brána and Zábraní. The local Brethren congregation was based in Brethren House No. 1 near the Old Gate.

Tradition

On Palm Sunday before Easter, Bezuchov hosts a festive girls’ procession known as “Májkování”.

Cycle Paths

Bezuchov is considered a hub for the cycle paths running through the Záhoří region. The Bystřice pod Hostýnem–Helfštýn cycle route also passes through Bezuchov.

Exploring on Foot

The Dřevohostickým lesem educational trail is designed as a 6 km circular route. It is located between municipalities such as Dřevohostice, Bezuchov, Hradčany and Radkova Lhota in the Přerov District and has 12 stations with information boards.
