Horní Újezd has a permanent exhibition on local history entitled “Jak se žilo v Ójezdě”. The Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary is the most significant landmark in Horní Újezd and was first mentioned in Horní Újezd in 1408.

Mezicestí [Horní Nětčice] is a hill in the immediate surroundings of Horní Újezd. Kelčský Javorník and Holý vrch, both mountains, are also located in the surroundings of Horní Újezd.

Above Horní Újezd, the old cross at Na Drahách offers a sweeping view of the surrounding landscape.

Events and Cycling

The second edition of the Langošová drakiáda was announced as a family event at the sports field in Horní Újezd. The event was announced to offer langoš, French fries, and alcoholic and non-alcoholic draught beverages.

The “Májový cyklovýlet” was announced as a cycling tour of approximately 65 km from Horní Lideč back to Horní Újezd. A bicycle bus operated by TJ Sokol Ústí was planned for the “Májový cyklovýlet”: it was to travel to Horní Lideč from the “Luža” water reservoir starting at 8:30 a.m.
