Dolní Studénky: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Třemešek Chateau and its park are registered as a cultural monument in Dolní Studénky. Its Renaissance portal dates from 1587 and features figurative ornamentation as well as a bas-relief by Jan Bukůvka.

Culture and History

The Church of St. Linhart also preserves special details: it features ceiling paintings with portraits of saints, as well as stencil paintings on the vault arches. Its stone chapel had replaced a wooden Protestant prayer house in 1701; from 1840 to 1843, it was extended into the church’s present-day Catholic form.

Hrad Brníčko, a castle, lies in the vicinity of Dolní Studénky. Nový Hrad is a ruin in the vicinity of Dolní Studénky.

Landscape and Water

The Dražník hill lies in the vicinity of Dolní Studénky; at 506 metres, it is the highest peak in the area surrounding Dolní Studénky. The mountains of Skalka, Obora and Bouda are also located in the area.

The Malínský potok feeds the Třemešské ponds. The ponds were established after 1437 under the rule of the Tunkl family of Brníčko and Zábřeh. The Desná partly forms the cadastral boundary of Dolní Studénky; its course features numerous meanders and bends.

Cakes, sweet pastries and cold dishes are sold at Kavárna Třemešek.

Further Features

One project envisaged the partial reconstruction of Třemešek Chateau into a community centre. The planned centre was intended to host cultural, sporting and educational or training events; associations were to be provided with premises there.
