Culture

The Church of St. John the Baptist in Heroltice is a Baroque church originally built in 1718 and protected as an immovable cultural monument since 2009. Its interior preserves unusual stencil paintings with floral motifs and ornaments from the early 20th century. Directly at this distinctive location, a blue-marked hiking trail from Červená Voda to Štíty crosses the road next to the Church of St. John the Baptist in Heroltice.

Landscape

Buková hora mountain is located in the immediate vicinity of Heroltice. The surrounding area also includes the Obora, Lazek and Suchý vrch mountains. In the wider region around Heroltice lies Nový Hrad, a landmark regarded as a ruin.

Activities

The Heroltice ski slope is groomed and suitable for families with small children. On September 6, 2025, the Heroltice Fire Brigade organized the 24th fire brigade competition for the SDH Heroltice Cup.
