Rapotín: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

At the Rapotín Glassworks Museum, a chronologically arranged exhibition tells the story of Rapotín’s glassmakers and glassworks. It showcases typical products of the glassworks and a glass-melting furnace.

Culture

The Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary was completed in 1874 on the site of the demolished late-Gothic Church of St. James the Greater. It is an ensemble of Neo-Gothic architecture on older foundations; its stained-glass windows were created in 1929 by the Brno art company Říha.

Nature and Trails

The Petrovské studánky Educational Trail is a moderately challenging educational circular trail in the Prostřední skály massif. It begins in Rapotín and leads to the historic Anenská studánka spring, which has a shelter, and is suitable for hiking and Nordic walking.

The Bukovka Educational Trail is a 7.5 km circular route. It begins and ends at the Rapotín municipal office and is marked throughout with yellow tourist markings. The trail includes the Lesní balneo area with two pools of different depths for the feet, a special pool for the hands and forearms, and a barefoot path over stones of various shapes and sizes.

The Bukovka Lookout Tower offers views of the Jeseníky Mountains, the Rychlebské hory and the Desná Valley. The Přes Granátovou skálu a Kamenitý kopec circular trail runs along forest roads and paths around Kamenitý kopec, passing the mineralogical sites of Granátová skála, Kožušná and Černé kameny, as well as historic stone paths.

Places to Visit and Activities

TIC Rapotín is a certified NORDIC WALKING POINT. There, you can rent or order original poles and other accessories, receive advice from trained staff, get recommendations for suitable routes in the surrounding area and arrange a lesson with an experienced instructor.

Klamarium is a certified tourist information centre. It offers tips for trips, recommendations for interesting places and information about current events in Rapotín, Velké Losiny and the entire Jeseníky region.

Rapotín Golf Club offers memberships for complete beginners as well as individual and group lessons with a professional instructor.
