Culture and history
In Hanušovice stands the Church of „Farní kostel sv. Mikuláše“, featuring a late Renaissance core dating from 1656 and two side chapels. In 1783, it was remodelled in the Baroque style. The complex also includes a Baroque statue of Saint John of Nepomuk dating from 1748.
The Obětování Panny Marie Chapel has a hexagonal turret with a lantern, onion dome and finial. The building „bývalá rychta“, the former courthouse, has two stone cellars arranged one behind the other, with barrel vaults.
Brewery and information
The Pivovarské muzeum Hanušovice is fully accessible. Visitors can book a brewery tour at Pivovar Holba.
The Hanušovice Tourist Information Centre rents out trekking poles and provides bicycle service equipment. It provides information about cultural monuments, natural attractions, and railway and road routes in the Czech Republic.
Water and cycle paths
The Vodácká stezka Morava offers 86 kilometres of paddling route on the Hanušovice–Olomouc section. The Hanušovice–Postřelmov section reaches a difficulty level of up to WW1.
The YEScyklo-Pivovarský okruh runs from Hanušovice to Rejchartické sedlo, from where there are extensive views over the Jeseníky Mountains. From Hanušovice, the Moravská stezka runs largely along the Morava River to Mohelnice.
