Drozdov: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

Drozdov can be explored via marked trails, remarkable landscapes and specific places of remembrance. A yellow-marked hiking trail leads from Drozdov via Pivonín down into the Růžové údolí valley and runs between Drozdovská Pila and Růžové údolí. Cesta nepokořených is also a yellow-marked hiking trail that passes through Drozdov.

Nature and landscape

In Březná Nature Park, the Březná and Moravská Sázava rivers form pronounced, deep and symmetrical valleys. For the end of March, stands of a legally protected plant are documented in wet meadows around Drozdov.

Hiking and cycling

The route of Cesta nepokořených extends via Pivonín towards Drozdov. A branch of the hiking trail leads below the summit of Střemše to a preserved partisan bunker.

For cycling, the 31-kilometre route Svébohov–Jedlí–Drozdov is designated. Another cycle route follows cycle path 6230 to Pivonín, reaches Drozdov and then leads down to Drozdovská Pila.

History and culture

The Chapel of Saints Fabian and Sebastian stands in Drozdov. Following the plague of 1714, the inhabitants of Drozdov built the chapel; its present form dates from 1873.

The Drozdov war memorial stands at the Růžové údolí x Jedlí crossroads and was dedicated to the victims of the First World War. After the Second World War, another metal plaque was added.

On site

The Kemp Drozdovská Pila campsite has five wooden two-storey cabins. Hostinec u Záruby at Drozdovská Pila offers refreshments.
