Mostkovice: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

The Plumlovská Reservoir is located in Mostkovice, within the municipality’s cadastral area. Swimming and water sports are possible there. Construction began in 1912, and it was filled with water for the first time in 1933.

Water and Activities

The Plumlov–Mostkovice cycle path runs around the Plumlovská Reservoir from Mostkovice to Plumlov. It crosses a bridge whose construction was supported by the Olomouc Region with CZK 2,500,000.

Culture and History

The Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary is the parish church of Mostkovice. Its origins are dated to the mid-12th century; it is considered one of the oldest cultural monuments in the region.

Events and Culinary Delights

At the “Hodové setkání” gathering, visitors could sample Hanácké koláč, which bakers from Mostkovice had entered in the competition. A guided tour of the parish church was also offered.

For the 2026 season, open-air film screenings had been announced at Letní kino Mostkovice; the start was scheduled for Friday, June 26, 2026, at 9:30 p.m.
