Kralice na Hané is located 5 km east of Prostějov in the fertile Haná plain, on a low terrace at the northeastern edge of the broad floodplain of the Valová below its confluence with the Romže.
Location and transport
Kralice na Hané is served by six bus stops, including the central Kralice na Hané, Obecní úřad stop. The district of Kraličky is served by Kraličky railway station on line No. 301 between Nezamyslice, Prostějov and Olomouc.
History
Kralice na Hané was first mentioned in written records in 1225. In 1316, John of Luxembourg granted Kralice na Hané its own laws; at that time, Kralice na Hané already had the right to use its own mile marker.
The parish Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary was built between 1790 and 1793. It is protected as an immovable cultural monument and is listed in the central register of immovable cultural monuments of the Czech Republic. Kralice na Hané Château stands on the site of a former fortress; the present building is dated to 1637. The Seilern family subsequently used Kralice na Hané Château as a summer residence for 100 years.
Local sights and monuments
In the settlement of Kraličky, the Chapel of St. John of Nepomuk stands in the middle of the village street. The Renaissance church tower dating from 1578 survived later alterations and forms the basis of the present tower. The hexagonal Chapel of the Holy Cross in the cemetery dates from 1823. In Kralice na Hané stands the Chapel of St. Vitus; in front of it is a monumental cross from the 19th century.
Culture and leisure
The Haná singing and dance ensemble KLAS presents Haná traditions and customs through dance and song and regularly performs at cultural events, including Kralické klebety and the Advent gathering.
The church choir performs in the local church at Easter, during the Hodové celebrations and at Christmas. Many residents from the municipality and the surrounding area take part in the Hodové celebrations in Kralice na Hané. On 8 May 2026, the 13th walking pilgrimage from Kralice na Hané to Dub nad Moravou took place.
The municipal tennis court can be used for tennis, badminton, volleyball and nohejbal. In Kralice na Hané, at U Pivovaru, there is a multipurpose play area for children.

The monuments Pomník obětem 1. světové války and Socha sv. Jana Nepomuckého are located in the vicinity of Kralice na Hané. The surrounding mountains include Předina, Chlum and Horka. The hill „(Amerika) [Vrbátky - Dubany na Hané]“ is also located nearby.
