Kožušany-Tážaly: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The first written mention of Tážaly dates back to 1078. At that time, the Moravian prince Ota Olomoucký donated the village to the Benedictine monastery in Klášterní Hradisko. Kožušany was first mentioned in writing in 1297.

History

In the centre of Kožušany stands the octagonal Baroque Chapel of St. Anne, built in 1750. In front of the chapel there is a stone cross dating from 1888.

Transport Links and Cycle Route

Kožušany has a railway stop on the Olomouc–Prostějov–Brno line. Tážaly has a bus stop on the Olomouc–Tovačov–Kroměříž route. The Moravská stezka long-distance cycle route also passes through Kožušany-Tážaly.

Culture

The churches Kostel sv.Michala and Kostel Panny Marie Sněžné are located in the vicinity of Kožušany-Tážaly. Čechovy sady Park is also nearby. In the wider regional area are the Pomník obětem 1. světové války memorial and the Socha sv. Jana Nepomuckého monument.

West of the centre of Tážaly stands the Socha sv. Norberta statue. Behind the viaduct, it is located about 700 m away on a field path and is freely accessible. The statue was added to the list of monuments in 1964. The Socha sv. Jana Nepomuckého statue stands on the side road to Kožušany, about 50 m before the village.
