Domaželice: Holiday apartments and holiday homes
The Baroque building Kostel sv. Jakuba Většího stands in Domaželice on older foundations. At the end of the 18th century, it was expanded with side chapels.
Culture and history
Next to the church, at the former cemetery, there is a children's monument in the form of a cross with a verse inscription from 1826. The statue of Saint John of Nepomuk also stands by the church. Its chronogram dates it to 1723; in autumn 1959, the statue was moved to the park by the church.
Events
The Domaželický guláš took place in Domaželice in 2024, 2025 and 2026. Výletiště Orlák is also offered as a municipal event venue for one-day rentals.
Landscape and bodies of water
The Moštěnka flows south of most of Domaželice. At the eastern edge of the village, the Šišemka stream flows into the Moštěnka.
Geographical location
Road II/150, which connects Přerov with Bystřice pod Hostýnem, runs through Domaželice.
Nearby is Tereza, a hill near Kostelec u Holešova. Holešov Castle Park is a park in the vicinity of Domaželice.
