Vrbno Pod Pradedem: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

The Vyhlídka Praděd educational trail begins below the shooting range in Mnichov, a district of Vrbno pod Pradědem. It comprises five thematic stations about the Vrbensko area and the local nature and is partially accessible on cross-country skis in winter.

Nature and trails

A forest path runs along the Opava River and is suitable for pedestrians and cyclists; it can also be traversed with a pushchair.

Culture and craftsmanship

Villa Friedrich Grohmann dates from 1922. The Church of the Holy Archangel Michael was built in the Empire style between 1840 and 1843. Its altar is unusually oriented towards the west.

Iveta Strnadová's glassworks offers experience-oriented tours by prior arrangement. At the TOMI glassworks, master glassblowers work using authentic techniques that were already used in medieval glassworks; visitors can watch them at work.

Sightseeing

Visits to the Church of the Holy Archangel Michael and its tower are possible by prior telephone appointment. The small château is privately owned and can only be viewed from the outside.
