At the Slezská Harta Reservoir, water-based activities combine with trails through the landscape and traces of local history. Boat trips, a replica of an old sailing ship, volcanic educational trails and distinctive buildings reveal different sides of the area.

Water

The Slezská Harta Reservoir was built on the Moravice River between 1987 and 1997. Boat trips are offered on the reservoir, visiting interesting places and bays while providing information about its history.

The Santa Maria is a replica of an old wooden sailing ship and offers a one-hour guided cruise on the Slezská Harta Reservoir. The Rouza ferry crosses the reservoir between Roudno and Razová. Since 1998, the Slezská Harta Reservoir has also offered yacht lessons and the rental of cabin sailing boats. The reservoir provides opportunities for water sports; fishing and walks in nature are also possible there.

The waterside landscape includes the VN Slezská Harta – Leskovec nad Moravicí swimming area, with an approximately 100-metre-long grass beach and a gradual entry into the water. The bathing water quality at the VN Slezská Harta – Leskovec nad Moravicí measuring point was rated excellent during the period 2019–2022.
