Vysoká is located in the Zlatohorská vrchovina geomorphological unit and combines landscape features, historical evidence and routes through the Osoblažský výběžek within a compact area.
Landscape
The municipality’s highest point is the 494-metre-high Stráž hill above Pitárné. East of Vysoká lie erratic boulders considered a natural attraction. The connection with Pitárné also shapes the watercourse: the Petrovický potok and the Mušlov meet there; from this confluence onwards, the river is called the Osoblaha.
History and churches
The remains of a 15th-century fortress are located in the western part of Vysoká. The village is also home to the single-nave Baroque cemetery church of St Urban, built in 1767. In Pitárné, the parish Church of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary dates from 1776.
Bartultovice also preserves small historical reminders. Near house no. 43 there is an 18th-century wayside shrine dedicated to St Florian. The Radvanského kámen, a gravestone dating from 1760, also stands there.
Routes through the Osoblažský výběžek
Hiking trails lead through the Osoblažský výběžek from Pitárné. The blue hiking trail passes the observation towers on the Strážnice and Hraniční vrch elevations on its way to Město Albrechtice. A green hiking trail leads from Pitárné around Dívčí Hrad to Bohušov.
