Město Albrechtice: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

The Městský turistický okruh connects Poutní hora, the Burkvíz ruins, Linhartovy Chateau, the Hraniční vrch lookout tower and Vrch Dubí mountain. The 28 km moderately difficult circular trail is also suitable for families with children; the chateau houses a permanent exhibition of rare ceramics by Jan Kutálek. The twin-towered lookout tower is freely accessible year-round. Its observation platform is 25 metres high and can be reached via 149 steps.

Activities and trails

The disc golf course in Bedřicha Smetany Park has six baskets and 20 discs. Jezdecké centrum Město Albrechtice offers trail rides, training lessons for advanced riders, and riding opportunities for children and adults in the riding arena and, in bad weather, in the indoor riding hall.

Fishing and cycling are possible at Rybník Celňák pond, as well as ice skating in winter. The Slezská magistrála cycling route is 140 km long and runs from Jeseník via Město Albrechtice, Krnov, Úvalno and Opava to Kravaře.

Culture and history

The Church of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary features ornate Baroque altars, including a high altar with a painting of the Visitation of Mary. It was built in the mid-18th century on the site of a burnt-down wooden church and is considered one of the finest examples of Baroque religious architecture in the Osoblažsko region. The Baroque Column of the Virgin Mary of Saint Anne stands in the town square.

The Minimuzeum kočárků a panenek displays more than 150 prams and more than 300 dolls. It is open by prior telephone arrangement and charges a voluntary admission fee. Infokavárna & infocentrum provides tourist information, public toilets and local publications in Město Albrechtice.

The Pohádková stezka Ke Krtečkově studánce is just under two kilometres long, has 11 stops, interactive elements and games, and is suitable for families with children and for prams. Eldorádo Hynčice presents a prehistoric scene with dinosaurs, brontosaurs and other giant reptiles, as well as fairy-tale creatures and other figures.
