Dívčí Hrad: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

Dívčí Hrad Castle is a Renaissance castle built by the Bruntálský z Vrbna family on the site of a medieval castle.

Culture

The Dívčí Hrad castle complex was declared a cultural monument in 1958 and entered in the Central List of Cultural Monuments. Dívčí Hrad also hosts the Festival pod zámkem, a cross-genre music festival traditionally held every two years.

In the wider regional surroundings of Dívčí Hrad are Edelštejn, a ruin, Moszna - Zamek, a castle, Cvilin, a ruin, and Koberštejn, a ruin.

Nature

Oblík is a Carboniferous paleontological locality with fossilized remains of brachiopods, cephalopods, bivalves, and trilobites. The protected natural site of Oblík preserves an exposed outcrop of coal limestone of stratigraphic and paleontological significance.

The mountains of Klasztorne Wzgórze, Kobylica, Długota, and Młyńska Góra are located in the surroundings of Dívčí Hrad.

Routes

The green-marked KČT hiking trail “Srdcem Osoblažska” passes through Dívčí Hrad, climbs near the settlement of Sádek and at Dubovec, and then descends to Karlov and Bohušov. The trail offers views of the Osoblažsko landscape and the neighboring Polish hills.

Regional railway line No. 298, the Třemešná–Osoblaha narrow-gauge railway, runs through the administrative area of the municipality of Dívčí Hrad. On the Osoblažská úzkokolejka, visitors can encounter tourist trains with steam locomotives or historic diesel locomotives during the summer season.
