Borecké skály is a protected natural monument located in the municipal territories of Rovensko pod Troskami and Hrubá Skála. Peregrine falcons, eagle owls, and rare ravens breed in Borecké skály. One of the rock viewpoints in Bor Forest above Rovensko pod Troskami is named after Svatopluk Čech.

Culture

A Baroque Marian column from 1744 stands in the square of Rovensko pod Troskami. In the center of the square is the sculpture group “Rozhovor” by sculptor Josef Drahoňovský. The Gothic choir of the church in Rovensko pod Troskami dates from the 14th century, while the nave was rebuilt in 1573. The composer Václav Karel Holan Rovenský, who was born in Rovensko pod Troskami, was buried in the church of Rovensko.
