Nature
The Swamp National Nature Monument in Doksy protects a marshland with numerous bodies of water. It provides a habitat for rare and endangered plant and animal species. The Swamp protected area safeguards populations of brown beak-sedge (Rhynchospora fusca) and white water lily (Nymphaea candida).
The SWAMP educational trail provides information about protected and critically endangered animals and plants, as well as the fish farming of Lake Mácha, of which the SWAMP NNM is a part. The Swamp educational trail is a 15 km route from Doksy via Břehyň and back to Doksy, suitable for pedestrians and cyclists. It features six information boards about environmental protection at Lake Mácha.
