Nature

On the outskirts of Štěpanická Lhota lies the Jímání Cave on the slope below the road between Štěpanice and Benecko. The nearby area includes the Přední Žalý, Zadní Žalý and Šeřín mountains. Přední planina Mountain is located in the vicinity of Štěpanická Lhota.

Culture

The ruins of Spalona Stražnica are located in the vicinity of Štěpanická Lhota. The wider surrounding region is home to Chojnik Castle and Valdštejn Church; Lázně Church is located nearby.

Paths and Winter

The original section of the Lufťákova Trail follows a paved path and is accessible with a pushchair. The Lufťákova Trail circular route runs from the centre of Benecko through Štěpanická Lhota and back to the centre of Benecko via the Kejnos mountain railway.

The Benecko ski resort offers gentle slopes and a slalom slope for skiers of varying experience levels. The resort includes a snowpark, Hopstráda, and the three children's ski parks Havrland, Family aréna and Kejnos. There are also three snow tubing tracks and an opportunity for sledding in winter.

Kejnos Kid park has a 60-metre-long conveyor belt that helps beginners learn to ski. Family aréna offers playful ski slopes with jumps, waves, slaloms and other practice features.

The Star Hotels restaurant at Štěpanická Lhota 46 offers Czech and international cuisine, as well as children's and vegetarian dishes. The restaurant at ProFamily Hotel TOP at Štěpanická Lhota 12 is also open to the general public and serves modern Czech cuisine.
