Čertova hora Mountain is located in the immediate vicinity of Rokytnice nad Jizerou. The Hvězda and Zadní Plech mountains, as well as the Wodospad Kamieńczyka waterfall, are also located in the vicinity of Rokytnice nad Jizerou.

Culture and Trails

The very easy Dřevosochání educational trail runs for 1.1 km from the Na vrších crossroads in Horní Rokytnice nad Jizerou to Starý Kravín in Františkov. It leads to the picturesque district of Františkov in Rokytnice nad Jizerou and is suitable for pedestrians and cyclists. The educational trail is dedicated to a traditional wood-carving event held in Františkov each year around the transition from June to July.

History and Regional Culture

The Dvoračky mountain hut is visited for its in-house bakery, home cooking and mountain specialties. The seventh Bohemian skiing championship was held in Dvoračky in February 1902.

The wider regional surroundings of Rokytnice nad Jizerou are home to Zamek Chojnik Castle, the Spalona Strażnica ruins, Zamek Gryf Castle and the Lázně Church.
