Zdechovice: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

Zdechovice forms a small rural settlement area with mixed residential and agricultural development. The village has a sports facility with a children’s playground, which serves as infrastructure for various events.

Culture and events

Several events with their own chronological development have taken place in Zdechovice: the first Čarodějnický pochod was held in 2022, followed by the first Masopustní průvod in 2023. The Čarodějnice event also took place in Zdechovice on 30 April 2024.

The academic painter Bohumil Kubišta is also associated with the village: before the First World War, he lived and worked in Zdechovice. The Church of Svatý Jiří is also located in the wider regional area around Zdechovice.
