Lodín combines a well-equipped outdoor swimming complex with ponds, forest and an educational trail that brings together nature observations and information about water.

Water and Educational Trail

Lodín outdoor swimming complex has a children's paddling pool with a slide and misting system. The leisure pool includes massage showers and a whirlpool. The complex also offers a two-lane slide and a 102-metre water slide with a landing pool 110 centimetres deep.

The educational trail in Lodín runs around the Močidlo pond. It provides information about the jumping distances of various animals, their tracks, the trees in the surrounding area, as well as fish, birds and the water cycle.

Nature and Water Landscape

Lodín is surrounded by forest complexes on three sides. The municipality's cadastral area contains the extensive Močidlo and Homoláč ponds. The Nechanice–Lodín Site of Community Importance (CZ0520030) is also part of the natural area: it consists of three separate areas west of Nechanice and covers a total of 1,562.6 hectares.

Cycle Paths

Two marked regional cycle paths pass through Lodín. Cycle path No. 181 runs via Stěžery, Hrádek, Nechanice, Lodín, Petrovice, Myštěves and Chomutice. Route 4286 runs via Skřivany, Janatov, Lodín, Suchá and Všestary.

Village Character and History

A monumental memorial to the victims of both world wars stands in Lodín's village square. A statue of the Madonna is located at the crossroads towards Petrovice. Lodín is associated with the name Lodyně, to which the years 1068 and 1126 are linked.
