The Štědrý stream flows through Tutleky. Hradisko, an Old Slavic spur above the Štědrý stream, is located near Tutleky. The Strýc and Velká Suchá mountains are located in the vicinity of Tutleky; the nearby area also includes Borek Hill [Lupenice] and Kamenec Hill [Kostelec nad Orlicí-Kostelecká Lhota].

Landscape

The elevations around Tutleky have different names: Strýc and Velká Suchá are located in the surrounding area, while Borek Hill [Lupenice] and Kamenec Hill [Kostelec nad Orlicí-Kostelecká Lhota] are in the immediate vicinity of the village.

History

A castle or fortress is believed to have once stood on Hradisko. A large watchtower once stood there as well; during enemy incursions, signals were sent from it using fire signals.

Villagescape and Culture

The former school building in Tutleky was completed in 1880 and now serves as a clubhouse following renovation. TJ Sokol in Tutleky uses it for regular gymnastics sessions. TJ Sokol also regularly offers volleyball on Mondays and Thursdays from 18:00 to 20:00.

In Dubí, the cross was restored in 1888, set into masonry, and fitted with a small bell tower. Five lime trees were planted around the bell tower. There is also a statue of Saint John in Dubí.

Events

Every year, Tutleky hosts a night fire brigade attack competition for the mayor's cup; in 2026, it was held for the 29th time.
