Nevratice: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

In Nevratice's village square, a Baroque statue of Saint John of God dominates the scene, standing on a pedestal with a relief of Saint Florian dating from 1782. Also located in the village square is a crucifix monument with the body of Christ on a pedestal bearing a relief of the Virgin Mary dating from 1774.

History and Townscape

The oldest written mention of Nevratice dates back to 1398; at that time, the estate of Mikuláš z Úlibic is documented. The history of the village also includes the former school of Nevratice with a bust of Jan Ámos Komenský: it was completed in 1911, while the idea for its construction originated in 1908. Preserved examples of vernacular architecture in the form of log houses can be found in Nevratice. The sandstone monument “Křížek” was moved to the built-up area of Nevratice as part of a restoration project funded in 2008; benches and a litter bin were installed at the memorial site.

Landscape

Nevratice lies on the banks of the Javorka River. Mount Maxinec (MLázovický chlum) is located in the vicinity of Nevratice. The Březinka hill [Chomutice-Obora] is in the immediate vicinity of Nevratice, as is the Na Zádušníku hill [Nevratice]. Mount Kamenec lies in the wider regional surroundings of Nevratice.

Getting Around Locally

The route between Nevratice and Chomutice is intended for pedestrians and cyclists and runs along road II/327. A children's playground for the youngest children is located next to the Nevratice municipal office.

“Nevratická Bludička” is a night-time firefighting sports competition for children and young people; in 2025, its eighth edition was organised by the local voluntary fire brigade association. The ninth edition of the night-time firefighting sports competition for children was announced for 13 June 2026 at the municipal sports field in Nevratice; it was scheduled to begin at 17:00, with the first start at 18:00.
